Black Barn Vineyards ‘Concetta’ Montepulciano Cabernet Sauvignon Sangiovese 2020.
Arriving from Ischia in 1947, a glamorous Concetta Lombardi settled in Havelock North with her husband Bill and became known as Tina Green. The Lombardi vineyard was planted in 1948. Black Barn replanted this vineyard in 1994. Five rows were planted in the Italian varieties of Sangiovese and Montepulciano.
Black Barn Vineyards celebrates a remarkable life with Concetta. Presented in six magnums. This is an Italian blend to celebrate a proud woman who may have become a Kiwi blend but like this wine, also remained proudly and staunchly Italian.
