The Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction celebrates 28 years in 2019 with Hawke’s Bay’s most talented winemakers providing over 40 lots of wine, many of which are being specially blended.

Pre-Tasting Event (200 tickets)

Date:  Wednesday 10th October 2018

Venue:  Art Deco Masonic Hotel, Napier

Time:  5.30pm – 7.00pm

Cost:  $30pp + gst

The pre-tasting event presents an opportunity for the customers to sample all 40 auction lots prior to the main auction event a month later. It is short in duration and included in the ticket is access to all wineries auction lot wine and nibbles.


Auction Event Day (700 tickets)

Date:  Saturday 10th November, 2018

Venue:  Napier Conference Centre

Time:  1.00pm – 5.00pm

Cost:  $50pp + gst

The main event begins with the opportunity to wander the room speaking with winemakers while tasting the wine they have on auction.  This is followed by the auction, your opportunity to walk away with some of Hawke’s Bay’s finest wines.

Art Deco Masonic Post Auction Dinner

Date:  Saturday 10th November 2018

Venue:  Emporium Napier

Time:  5.30pm

Cost:  $57 per person + booking fees – Purchase Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction tickets and receive for $50

Chef’s choice degustation of 3x courses Includes amuse bouche Emporiums’ Chef, Damon McGinniss is at the helm, for this “not to be missed” dinner. His love for Hawke’s Bay food will be showcased at this exclusive celebration of food and wine.

Wildflower Sculpture Exhibition

Come along and celebrate the event’s 10th birthday.  There’s plenty going on alongside the exhibition over the five days. Our 2018 artist David Trubridge will have his auction piece on show at the exhibition in the days leading up to the Wine Auction, so it’s a great opportunity to see it in the open air amongst the wide collection of sculpture from around the country.

The Wildflower Sculpture Exhibition is a sister event to Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction and also Hospice Holly Trail which all support Cranford Hospice.
