The Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction celebrates the 32nd edition of this fantastic event in 2024. Bringing together some of Hawke’s Bay most talented winemakers and one great artist to offer over 40 unique lots.

This year’s Wine Auction event will take place on Saturday the 14th September 2024. This is your opportunity to walk away with some of Hawke’s Bay’s finest wines put together in unique lots.

Event schedule

12.30 – 1.30pm: Wine tasting experience in the Cushing Foyer

12.30 – 2pm: Silent auction bidding open

2 – 4.30pm: Live auction, hosted by HBWA Ambassador, Mike McRoberts, and Auctioneer Chris Kennedy

Auction Preview & Tasting Event 

Date:  Wednesday 14th August 2024

Venue:  Napier War Memorial Centre

Time:  5.30pm – 7.00pm

Cost:  $60pp incl. GST

Join us at the Preview + Tasting Evening, where guests have the opportunity to sample some of our largest and most exclusive auction lots, ahead of the live auction on Saturday 14th September.

Mingle with the region’s best winemakers, enjoy delicious canapes by Dish Catering, view the incredible feature artwork for this year’s auction, all whilst sipping some of the region’s most extraordinary wines.

Wine Auction Event Day

Time:  12.30pm – 5.00pm

Cost:  $85pp incl. GST

The main event begins with your opportunity to wander the room speaking with many of the regions winemakers whilst tasting & chatting about the wine they have on auction. Our Event Ambassador – Mike McRoberts will also be present mingling with guests. This is followed by the fun and lively auction, raise your paddles to walk away with some of Hawke’s Bay’s finest wines, one travel package or our feature art piece.

If you are attending the Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction event and would like to place a bid on an auction lot then you will need to register.

If you cannot make it in person – you are missing out on the fun afternoon, however we can organise pre-bids and telephone bidding for lots you are interested in.
