Crafted since 2011, ‘Aurulent’ has become our flagship wine over the last 12 years. This unique and very special offering showcases back vintages of the last 6 vintages.
2 bottles each of 2017,18,19,20,21 & 22.
Grown by dedicated growers in the Ohiti Valley and Havelock North. Hand-picked, whole bunch pressed, indigenous yeast and complete malo-lactic fermentation. Aged in french oak barrels on lees for 10-11 months. New, 2 and 3 year old barrels are selected to taste, blended and unfined with a light filtration. The result ‘Aurulent’ an age worthy, elegant, rich and complex barrel aged Chardonnay.
