The Heipipi Vineyard, the sun drenched amphitheatre near Bay View in the north of Hawke’s Bay has been synonymous with fine wine for over 30 years. ‘The Terraces’ has been recognised in the highest echelons of New Zealand wine since the initial 1991 vintage, and in 2019 was joined by the ‘Hillside’ Syrah, from later plantings on a plateau near the summit of the slope. This wine is a celebration of the site. A unique auction lot that blends 30% Syrah with the Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Franc of the original ‘Terraces’ plantings. A once only taste experience of the entire Heipipi vineyard.
