Offered for the first time ever, a collection of every single vintage produced of Elephant Hill’s ultimate Chardonnay cuvée ‘Salomé’. Named after Maria Salomé Ebner, a much-loved ancestor of the Weiss family who owns Elephant Hill, this wine is made in strictly limited quantities from the best blocks of the Te Awanga and Bridge Pa vineyards, all handpicked and fermented with natural yeasts, and aged in the finest French oak barrels. This lot comprises 12 bottles each of the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 (sold out) vintages and the upcoming 2021. A total of 72 bottles or equivalent to a quarter barrique. It includes the rare and sought after 2019 which US publication Vinous rated as NZ’s top white wine of the year.
