This represents a distinctive chapter in Craggy’s history – sourced from our best Cabernet Franc (block 31) with some of the estate’s oldest vines (23 years). It marks our inaugural venture into fully biodynamic farming principles, exploring the effect on vine and soul health, balance and overall fruit quality. The resulting wine boasts a delightful blend of savoury, earthy aromas, complemented by the captivating aromatic lift characteristic of Cab Franc that we love. While this block is primarily reserved for Sophia, we’ve set aside a small section to observe how the farming techniques influence the wine.
