A case of 12 bottles of the inaugural Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay Collection and a vineyard safari of some of the vineyards with a local industry professional for 2 people . All vintage 2019 wines, selected by Cameron Douglas MS by means of a blind tasting. The collection represents an assortment highlighting the quality and diversity of this noble grape that loves our Hawke’s Bay terroir, expressed by our talented winemakers in the region – one of the world’s great wine regions.
“2019 is indeed a great vintage for Chardonnay from Hawke’s Bay. The theme for the tasting revealed itself after the first flight – texture, intensity, tautness, great line of acidity and a core of fruit. The potential for ageing many of the wines was apparent.” affirmed Cameron.
