Auction Lot Details
Established in 1989, Alpha Domus has pioneered the Bridge Pa Triangle Wine District, producing distinctive terroir wines. We are longtime supporters of the auction and this is the first Méthode Traditionelle we have offered.
Cirrocumulus NV is a one-off disgorging after 22 months on tirage with specific dosage that delivers an elevated experience to the palate. We have used a percentage of bottled, matured reserve wine to give this cuvée a depth of complex yeast flavour and wonderful brioche aromas in the bouquet. The grapes for this special disgorging were hand harvested early with optimum sugar ripeness and flavour for Méthode Traditionelle. The two Chardonnay blocks selected bring bright citrus freshness, a depth of flavour and light elegant structure to the palate. Extended time on lees adds to the creaminess of the mousse and ensures a fine bead in the glass.
Cirrocumulus is a special edition that is not to be repeated and definitely not to be missed.
