There are three ways to bid on auction day.

In-Person Bidding – Individuals or syndicates. Registrations open 1 July.

Phone Bidding – A specialist member of the Harcourts team will be assigned as your representative in the room, while you dial in via phone. Registrations open 1 July.

Online Bidding – Delivered by our friends at The Wine Auction Room, bidders can register as an individual, as their own syndicate, or join our new open syndicates. Registrations will open 31 August.

All bidders must pre-register to bid and accept the Terms of Conditions of Sale by Auction.

Why are syndicates a great option?

Syndicates are the best way to ramp up the fun, affordability and chances of securing spectacular wines at the Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction.

Get a group of mates together, decide how much you’ll each put in the kitty, and divide up the wine if you’re the lucky winners.

To learn more, check out our handy Guide to Syndicates.

Bidder and syndicate registration will be available from the 1st of July 2026.
