A unique blend of our top Chardonnay parcels, this wine is only available through the Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction.
Despite incredibly challenging conditions, 2023 Chardonnay fared exceptionally well, so much so we have we have declared a TOM, with the release of our flagship wine due later in the year, while our McDonald Series has already won a coveted place in Metro’s Top 50 wines. The quality of this vintage is testament to Chardonnay’s incredible affinity with our terroir and the skill and hard work of our vignerons. Hand harvested and pressed directly to French oak barriques for wild fermentation and 11 months maturation.
