Čuvar Winery was founded by Sir George Fistonich, an industry stalwart who has mentored, guided and supported many a person and business in our wine industry.
Čuvar means ‘guardian’ in Croatian. It honours New Zealand’s winemaking heritage while embracing and nurturing the future of Hawke’s Bay’s fine wine story, creating wines of purity and pedigree.
This year Sir George and his daughter Karen Fistonich, Executive Director of Čuvar Winery, are delighted to offer their Čuvar Guardians Chardonnay 2025, a wine that is developing a strong following and will surely be loved by the lucky bidder.
