This exceptional parcel of Chardonnay was whole bunch pressed directly to barrel, yielding a complex, finely textured and age-worthy wine.
Made exclusively for the Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction, this was a true collaborative effort. The fruit was donated by Kate and Koldo at Vineyard No.287 in Havelock North’s ‘Golden Mile’ while hand harvesting was donated by Greatvine Services and a wonderful team of volunteers. Thanks to Tony and Kaye at de la terre for their help and the use of their winery, to Church Road for donating an oak barrel, and to the talented @comsbymel for capturing images of the day.
