The first release of our flagship premium bottling of Syrah. Only released in the best years that capture Hawke’s Bay Syrah at its finest.
Picked from steep hillside vineyards bathed in the hot Hawke’s Bay sun. Whole cluster fermentation with indigenous yeast producing a massive wine dedicated to ageing.
Aged for twelve months in 30% New French Oak and neutral large format barrels, then after blending aged for a further 16 months in neutral oak for harmonisation before being bottled unifined and unfiltered.
