This week we proudly handed over a cheque for $370,000 to Cranford Hospice - a record-breaking result at this year's auction. This incredible fundraising total is thanks to the generosity of our winemakers, sponsors, bidders and partners. Our community continues to amaze us every single year.
We also raised a glass to two legends - Tony Bish and Kate Radburnd, who have stepped down as Trustees after more than 30 years of extraordinary service to the Hawke's Bay Wine Auction Charitable Trust. Two of our OGs, their vision and dedication helped shape the auction into the iconic event it is today.
Tony, Kate—thank you for pouring your hearts into this cause. Your impact will be felt for decades to come. 💛

The brilliantly named ‘License to Swill’ syndicate spent Friday living every wine lover’s dream: a private blending session with one of Hawke’s Bay’s top Chardonnay masters. Hugh shared his insider secrets, the group split into teams, and the blending battle was on. 🍇⚔️
After crafting their creations, Hugh judged the two wines over a delicious lunch.
