This Malbec‑led Hawke’s Bay red sits at the cutting edge of NZ’s new-wave blends: dense and dark, but styled and polished, with driving energy, and cellar-worthy structure. The path for this wine variety was forged with the classic Hawke’s Bay combination of Malbec and Merlot in the 2018 and 2019 vintages, and it eventually evolved into NZ’s only Malbec/Syrah blend by 2020 and remains so.
Accolades of current and previous releases include double gold at the NZ International Wine Show, 95 points from Bob Campbell and 5 Stars from Dish Magazine.
