Six magnums each of Elephant Hill’s limited release, top Syrah ‘Airavata’, from six vintages. 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2020 and yet-to-be released 2021. A rare, not-publicly-available collection.
Named after the mythological Hindu king-god of elephants, ‘Airavata’ represents the pinnacle of Elephant Hill’s winemaking. Only the best barrels of wine made from the best blocks of vineyards are used to produce this ultimate Syrah. Handpicked, handmade and aged in the finest French barrels for two years before bottling. This wine is highly accoladed, receiving exceptional high scores from international wine writers and is considered one of the great Hawke’s Bay Syrahs.
The Lot will be presented to the successful bidder(s) at a private lunch for up to six people held in our secret, vintage library cellar underneath Elephant Hill.
