Čuvar Winery is the new venture by Sir George Fistonich, an industry stalwart who has mentored, guided and supported many a person and business in our wine industry.
Čuvar means ‘Guardian’ in Croatian and the winery and wines serve as both a hub for a continuation of his support as well as a celebration of his Croatian heritage and continued dedication to the wonderful wines and vineyards of New Zealand. He has always had a particular love of the Hawke’s Bay region and is delighted to be able to share this wine with the lucky bidder.
