Lot 21 – HBWA Ambassador Blend with Elephant Hill

Auction Lot Details

In line with the spirit of the Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction this year we offer a very distinct experience together with the Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction Ambassador Mike McRoberts and Elephant Hill winemaker Hugh Crichton.

You will work alongside Mike and Hugh in a private blending session where you’ll smell, taste and spit (or not!) your way through 2022 Chardonnays grown in Elephant Hill’s two distinct element vineyards; Earth and Sea – comprising a total of 7 different Chardonnay clones. On finalising your blend you will enjoy lunch for two people together with Mike and Hugh in the wine library of Elephant Hill, located in the underground barrel cellar.

T&C’s: The date of blending session will be held on the day of the 2023 Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction Pre-Tasting event, estimated to be Wednesday 16th August 2023.  This is for 2 people with the option for others to join by arrangement at additional cost. We apologize for any amendments forced by government restrictions.
