The 27th annual Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction event will be held in Napier for the first time in the events’ history, this is due to the large scale construction of the Hawke’s Bay Opera House in Hastings. The event begins with the opportunity for guests to get up close and personal with the winegrowers, taste their wines, ask them questions and make notes on each auction lot in preparation for the main event a little later in the afternoon.
The Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction celebrates 27 years in 2018 bringing together over 40 of our region’s top winemakers, offering mostly bespoke created wine parcels especially for the auction. Your ticket includes over 40 wine tastings & canapés by Dish Catering. This year’s featured artwork is by David Trubridge.
David Trubridge is the 2018 commissioned artist for the 27th Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction – David and his team have created a specially designed piece for the event. The work will be on display at the auction.
This year Wildflower Sculpture Exhibition have kindly offered COMPLIMENTARY entry to stroll the Round Pond Gardens to view and purchase works from Hawke’s Bay and New Zealand artists during their daytime exhibition Wednesday 7th November – Saturday 10th November.
