The 28^th annual Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction event will take place on Saturday the 9th of November 2019. This is your opportunity to walk away with some of Hawke’s Bay’s finest wines. This year the event will be held at the Hastings Art Gallery for the first time in the events’ history, this is due to the large scale construction of the Hawke’s Bay Opera House in Hastings.  The event begins with the opportunity for guests to get up close and personal with the winegrowers, taste their wines, ask them questions and make notes on each auction lot in preparation for the main event a little later in the afternoon.

The Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction celebrates 28 years in 2019 bringing together over 40 of our region’s top winemakers, offering mostly bespoke created wine parcels especially for the auction. Your ticket includes over 40 wine tastings & canapés by Dish Catering. This year’s featured artwork is by Mauricio Benega.

Mauricio Benega is the 2019 commissioned artist for the 28th Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction – The work will be on display at the auction.
